INTRODUCTION
The year is IS 480, five years past the end of the Second Fire Bringer War. Budehuc Castle, the former headquarters of the Flame Champion, Hugo, and his allies resumed its quiet, unassuming life …

... until, one day, stars from various wars began appearing. Some walked, some sailed, others just appeared. Something, someone, was drawing them to Budehuc.
THE GAME

Friends and adversaries alike have steadily been arriving at Budehuc Castle. The commander of the guards, Cecile, has overseen room arrangements for the castle. As the population of the castle grows, rooms have been set up in all area of the castle, and many of those who have arrived with their ships have chosen to live in them. The ships are docked at the castle’s small dock. Many captains choose to winter their ships at Vinay del Zexay as the Budehuc’s lake freezes over in the winter.

The castle infirmary is overseen by Mathiu Silverberg. Mamie runs the café, and Cecile keeps a rotation of guards (including Luca Blight). Eike runs the library, and Maxine has taken on several students, including Rody. Her laboratory is located in the sublevels. There is also a scroll shop, blacksmith, and other various amenities at the castle. Supplies are frequently obtained from Iksay and Vinay del Zexay.

Characters are free to leave the castle to travel across the continent. Frequent destinations include the Grasslands, Vinay del Zexay and Iksay, although some have chosen to travel as far as the Nameless Lands.
